 Our adoption process is simple and straightforward. Finding the perfect Maine Coon kitten to join your family marks the start of an exciting journey. At Maine Coon Royalty, we’re dedicated to making this experience as easy and hassle-free as possible for both you and your new feline companion. When you’re ready, begin by exploring our “Kittens” page. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition for you and your new pet. 

We do not ship our kittens. However, we offer exclusive purr-sonal delivery options to ensure your new kitten arrives safely and comfortably.

 Our top priority is the well-being of our kittens and cats, ensuring each one finds a permanent, loving home for life. Therefore, we reserve the right to decline any adoption application to protect their best interests. 

 Adoption Fees & What's Included:

  Our adoption fees vary depending on the individual kitten. At Maine Coon Royalty, adoption fees typically range from $1,800 to $4,200+. 

 Every kitten is raised with exceptional care and receives comprehensive veterinary care before joining their forever family. 

 Every Maine Coon Royalty kitten goes home with: 

•  Two sets of core vaccinations (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Pneumonitis). 

•  Two rounds of deworming. 

•  Spay or neuter completed prior to leaving our cattery. 

•  A health record with all veterinary documentation. 

•  A TICA Breeder's Slip and Litter Registration Certificate for your records and registration. 

•  A spacious, soft-sided travel carrier, perfect for safely bringing your kitten home and for future travel. 

•  A 3 lb. bag of Royal Canin Maine Coon Kitten Food or Purina Pro Plan Kitten Food to help ensure a smooth transition. 

•  Your kitten's favorite toy. 

•  A blanket with the mother's scent to provide comfort and help your kitten adjust to their new home. 

•  A Maine Coon Royalty Welcome Home Kit. 

•  The Trupanion "Go Home Day Offer," which includes 30 days of complimentary pet medical insurance when activated within 24 hours of bringing your kitten home (not available in New York). 

For your convenience, all of your kitten's documents will also be scanned and emailed to you, ensuring you always have digital copies should the originals ever be lost or misplaced.

Our goal is to provide every kitten with the very best start in life and to ensure every new family is fully prepared for a smooth and successful transition.

 Adoption Process

Step 1: Complete the Adoption Application 

To begin the adoption process, please download and complete our adoption application. You'll be asked to provide your contact information and answer a few questions that help us get to know you, your family, and the home you can provide for one of our kittens.

Once completed, email your application to MaineCoonRoyalty@gmail.com.

The more information you share about yourself and your household, the easier it is for us to make the best possible match and ensure a smooth adoption experience for both you and your future kitten.

 Step 2: Reservation Contract & Deposit

Once your application has been approved and you've selected your kitten, we will email you our Adoption Reservation Contract and Declawing Agreement.

Please review both documents carefully, initial each page, sign where indicated, and return the completed forms to MaineCoonRoyalty@gmail.com.

A $400 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to officially reserve your Maine Coon Royalty kitten. This deposit will be applied toward the total adoption fee. 

 Step 3: Bringing Your Kitten Home 

 After your reservation is confirmed, we'll schedule a convenient date and time for either pickup or delivery of your kitten.

The remaining balance of the adoption fee is due at the time of pickup or delivery, based on your selected payment method.

 While Your Kitten Is Reserved:  

One of the most exciting parts of the adoption journey is watching your kitten grow! During the reservation period, we'll regularly send you photos and videos so you can follow your kitten's development, personality, and playful adventures with their littermates.

If you'd like to spend a little extra time with your future family member, we're also happy to arrange live video calls upon request.

Availability

We do not maintain a waiting list. If a kitten is listed as Available on our website, then he or she is currently available for adoption.
